Year 10 Work Experience

From 26th June to 7th July 2017 our Year 10 students undertook two weeks of work experience. Placements were varied, ranging from working in a donkey sanctuary to supporting the neo-natal unit at a local hospital and stretched as far afield as Bristol.

RSA Cup Winners 2017

The RSA Academy were crowned the winners of this year’s coveted RSA Cup Quiz for the 2nd year running!  On Tuesday 11th July, they beat the other RSA Academies in a tense battle here at RSA Academy in Tipton.
The competition was very close throughout the morning and during the elimination rounds as we triumphed into the finals against the Whitley RSA Academy.

As you are aware the structure of the Academy day will change next academic year and this is a polite reminder of the decision to roll forward to the new timings next Monday, 17th July.  The new school day will finish at 3:00pm every day.
Your child will be starting their new timetable next week and hopefully this will give them time

Student Nurse Ambassadors

Our Student Nurse Ambassadors were invited to facilitate a celebration day at West Bromwich town hall last Wednesday. There were 17 different Sandwell primary and secondary schools that they had to introduce and they also presented their project for this year which was on bullying and head lice. Our students represented the RSA Academy so well that they have been
