All students at the RSA Academy take part in a minimum of 2 hours Physical Education a week, led by a highly experienced and motivated P.E team. Within year 7 and 8 all students follow pathways with activities including: Football, Netball, Team Building, Athletics, Cricket and Rounder’s.
In Key Stage 4, students can choose a specific pathway from: competitive, aesthetics, leadership and fitness. In addition, the RSA Academy offers a range of qualifications at KS4 including: BTEC Sport Level 2, NCFE Health & Fitness and OCR Sport Studies.
Students at Post 16 can opt to chose the Level 3 Diploma in Sport and Exercise or to join the Football Academy.
Outside of the curriculum, the Academy offers a range of extra provision, with clubs for students of all abilities, including: badminton, table tennis, trampolining and rugby.
The Academy also has a number of teams that compete in regional and national tournaments including football, cricket, athletics and rounders.
