Post 16 students were recently invited to become members of the Young Chamber Committee. This is a very exciting opportunity for our students who will be able to represent the views of the RSA Academy to support careers education. The purpose of the group is as follows:

All new y12 footballers are required to meet with Mr McCormack on Monday 11th September at the end of the teaching day at 3.00pm outside the outside changing rooms.
Mr McCormack will be running a training session in preparation for a game on Wednesday 13th September.
Year 12 enrollment is Wed 6th and Thurs 7th September.
Year 12 lessons begin on Monday 11th September, Students must arrive by 8:25AM and make their way to the upper LRC.
As part of the Alchemy Festival in association with Black Country Touring, taking place in the Black Country this week, we were privileged to welcome some of the International rap artists to the RSA Academy.
Rap artists from across India travelled into the UK especially for the festival and dropped into the Academy to share some of their knowledge and expertise about rap
The under 18 boys football team were in West Midlands College League action this week with an away fixture against Romulus Academy from Sutton Coldfield. The match pitched the league’s two unbeaten sides and the team knew they were going to be in for a tough game. However, following an excellent display, the lads came away victorious with a 3-1 victory to remain top
The under 18 boys football team reached the semi final of the Midlands Schools cup with a four one victory away at the Heart of England school in Coventry.
