The Academy is so proud of Caine.  His quick thinking and bravery were recognised at Westminster Palace where he received a medal for Young Citizen of the year.   St John’s Ambulance have also recognised his achievement and presented Caine with a with a trophy.

Exercise Fledgling Eagle

On Tuesday 15th March, the RSA Academy cadets had a very early start for their first Field Day at Nesscliffe Army Camp in Shrewsbury.  The event had been organised by the Cadet Training Team, who were set up and ready when we arrived by coach at 09:00.

Cash for Your Community

During September and October, the RSA Academy Combined Cadet Force took part in the “Cash for Your Community” competition launched by Express and Star.
The prize fund of £35,000 was divided amongst the participating groups based on how many tokens were collected. The RSA Academy Combined Cadet Force were awarded £65.76.

Remembrance Sunday

On 8th November 2015, 30 young people from the RSA Academy Combined Cadet Force (CCF) represented their school at the Tipton Remembrance Parade, led by the Contingent Commander 2Lt Andrews.
After forming up, the cadets marched from Tipton Social Club to the War Memorial, Victoria Park where the service took place. The Northfield Caledonia Pipes and Drums headed the parade
